OCECD Library

Welcome to the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities’ State Parent Library. The library serves as a resource for parents of children with disabilities in the state of Ohio, who have children from birth through age 26. Library services are provided at no cost to both parents and professionals.

Library materials may be borrowed for a period of one month. A self addressed and stamped mailing envelope or container will be provided for returning materials when materials are shipped. We offer books, videotapes, and DVDs on topics related to special education for children and youth with disabilities. Information published by OCECD or reprints of articles will be shipped with no return needed. These materials are for parents to keep for future reference.

In order to use the Parent Library, you first must set up an account by clicking on the link below to download the PDF application. Please mail, fax or email your completed application back to OCECD. Once your application has been processed and your account has been established, we will notify you via email or mail.

To borrow materials from the Parent Library, click on the L4U Library System link below. This will give you access to the Library’s L4U internet catalog where you can locate and place materials in your book bag. OCECD will check material requests each business day.
