Today the U.S. Department of Education released the Questions & Answers document below about the Endrew F. v. Douglas County School District U.S. Supreme Court Decision. In that decision that examined the Court stated that “every child should have the chance to meet challenging objectives.” The Q&A document provides stakeholders an overview of the case and information from the Department about how the decision impacts implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the definition of a free appropriate public education. Additionally, the documents asks for comments from stakeholders about the document and any questions or best practices that should be added to it.
