Description:
We invite you to our Wilson Fundations Grade 3 Workshop.  

Program Description: Wilson Fundations Multi-Grade Level (Tiers 1 and 2) is a highly explicit, multisensory decoding andspelling curriculum for students in grades K -3 as an aid to develop literacy skills. Fundations is designed tobe taught in conjunction with a literature component, as part of a total literacy curriculum. Each grade levelis a separate 1-day workshop. Each 6.5-hour workshop provides the practice and guidance needed toeffectively begin teaching the Wilson Fundations curriculum. It is recommended that teachers enroll in thegrade level workshop for the grade level of the students they will be instructing.

Workshop Topics: • Letter Formation/Handwriting: Manuscript (K-2), Cursive (3) • Understanding Word Structure • Program Structure & Implementation • Getting Started: Unit Structure • Lesson Planning • Measuring Student Progress • Fluency Development • Comprehension Strategies

Prerequisite:  None.

Completion:  Follow up coaching sessions recommended.

Fine Print:  Registration is processed on a first-come first-served paid payment basis.  Class size is limited to 30 participants. Payment is due at the time of registration and includes continental breakfast and workshop materials.

Early registration is suggested to guarantee workshop materials. Check-in time is 7:30 - 8:00am.   Lunch is a 1-hour break on your own. Additional instructor needs and materials are sold separately.  

Cancellation policy: In the event that you need to cancel, you must contact us in writing at [email protected]. Cancellation requests must identify the invoice number, registrant's name, workshop name, email address, and amount paid. There is a $25 cancellation fee. No shows will be billed at cost.
