This is a 50 minute presentation for parents and other primary caregivers of adolescents to help raise awareness of mental health conditions. The goal of this presentation is to educate families about the
early warning signs of mental illness and how early recognition, support and treatment may be keys to positive outcomes. The presentation includes:
· Warning signs
· Facts and statistics
· How to approach and help one's child
Additionally, the presentation includes personal testimony from a young adult living with a mental health condition and his/her journey to recovery.
