STRIVE Worldwide
Are you, or someone you know interested in gaining independent living skills? Would you like to do that from your own home, while meeting peers from all over the country? Would you like to earn a certificate in Employment Skills, Health, or Living Independently? Would you like to have a library of resources that you can refer to on a variety of topics? STRIVE WorldWIDE is the program for you!
STRIVE WorldWIDE is a first-of-its kind online program that teaches independent living skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. Designed for learners ages 16 and up, this new program:
  • Allows students to watch the materials as frequently as possible, and at their own rate, rather than the traditional classroom setting.
  • Assists potential students that may have difficulty with processing and/or even verbal skills. Online education will allow them to fully participate.
  • Supports retention of skills — By having the program online, students will be able to refer back to recordings of seminars and also work through the course as frequently as they would like, even after completing the course itself
Upcoming courses include: Healthy You!, Personal Safety, Time Management & Organization, Social Skills & Healthy Relationships, Money Management, and more!
Here's what STRIVE WorldWIDE students and parents of students have to say about the courses:
We also want you to try it for yourself. We will be holding 3 informational, online, open houses on December 17 at: 1 PM, 6PM, and 9PM, Eastern Standard Time.
