Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is proposing changes to file one (1) amended chapter 2 rule and fifteen (15) rescinded and three (3) new chapter 6 rules in accordance with Chapter 119 of the Ohio Revised Code. The reason for the proposed rule change is to update and clarify rule language and to improve upon the current vehicle modification rules. The notice of public hearing and a copy of these proposed amended and new rules are enclosed/attached.
In the written version of these rules, the new language is underlined. The notice of public hearing, and the proposed rules are available in an electronic Word Format, and also in regular or large print, if needed as a reasonable accommodation.
OOD is providing this information so that any interested persons or groups may review it before the public hearing that will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Anyone may comment on the proposal either by attending the hearing, or by submitting comments in writing to Kevin Miller, Executive Director, before the public hearing date at [email protected].
