About The Presenters
Kristin Hildebrant is a senior attorney at Disability Rights Ohio (DRO), Ohio's Protection and Advocacy Agency for people with disabilities.  Kristin has practiced in the area of disability and special education law for 30 years and leads the special education and employment teams at DRO.   In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Kristin has represented children and parents in special education cases and individuals with disabilities in class-based litigation.  Kristin has been lead attorney in state-wide class action litigation involving Ohio's implementation of Medicaid's Early and Periodic, Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) program for children, and Ohio’s developmental disabilities system.  She is a frequent speaker on the topic of special education, juvenile justice and the school to prison pipeline and disability law.  Kristin received her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

John Price is a staff attorney on the special education team at Disability Rights Ohio. John has practiced in the area of special education law for nearly four years, representing hundreds of parents and students in disputes regarding educational services and placements. John spent a year as the Special Education Fellow at DRO, representing many Central Ohio families in the IEP process. John has presented numerous times on special education issues and has contributed many DRO publications on these topics. John received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2016.
