Empowering Families May 29th, 2024

Our quarterly event series: "Empowering Parents of Deaf/Hard of Hearing Children through Learning and Connecting." This online gathering, held via Zoom, is designed to provide parents of deaf or hard of hearing children with valuable resources, engaging learning activities, and opportunities to forge meaningful connections.


Our primary goal is to empower parents by equipping them with the knowledge and tools they need to support their children's unique needs and foster their overall development. Recognizing that parents play a pivotal role in their child's growth and well-being, we have curated a comprehensive program that focuses on education, skill-building, and community building.

About Presentation:

This session will provide information about the Deaf Mentor and Snapshots Provider Programs, offering tailored services to families with infants and young children up to age 3 who are deaf or hard of hearing. Services are provided statewide in the child’s natural learning environments, including home and community settings (currently via Zoom meetings).
